The Role of the CNC Turner As a CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator on the late shift, you will play a key role in the daily operation of the manufacturing facility. You’ll be responsible for programming, setting and operating a variety of advanced CNC machining centres, contributing directly to the production of high-precision components that meet the strictest industry standards. Experience & Competencies Required for the CNC Turner We’re looking for a candidate with: * Proven experience as a Programmer/Setter/Operator on Mazak and Doosan CNC machine centres, ideally within a fast-paced precision, prototype or motorsport engineering environment * Strong working knowledge of Fanuc or Mazatrol controls * Excellent understanding of engineering drawings, with the ability to perform accurate in-process dimensional and visual checks using appropriate measuring equipment * Experience machining a wide variety of metals and plastics * Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to provide concise feedback across teams * The ability to work efficiently to deadlines, manage priorities and maintain quality under pressure * Willingness and capability to mind multiple machines when required * A proactive mindset, able to work with autonomy and solve problems independently If you’re a dedicated CNC Turner looking to join a forward-thinking engineering business with exceptional industry credentials, we want to hear from you.
