Do you love hunting for opportunities inside big OEM accounts rather than cold-calling new ones? This role is all about developing one of the UK’s most high-profile automotive customers: JLR. We’re working with a leading 1st tier automotive manufacturer. They’re looking for a commercially sharp Account Development Manager to unlock new revenue streams and grow their footprint with Jaguar Land Rover. The opportunity You’ll treat JLR like your own “mini territory”: * Map stakeholders across purchasing, engineering, programme and plant teams * Spot where existing products could be engineered into new models, derivatives and plants * Actively chase new RFQs, nominate opportunities and build the project pipeline * Work closely with engineering and programme management to create compelling technical/commercial proposals * Build business cases, pricing strategies and value propositions to win profitable new programmes * Track forecast vs. actual sales, margin and growth at platform and plant level * Feed market and customer insight back into the business to influence innovation and NPD This is a role for someone who doesn’t just “manage” an account, you grow it. About you We’re looking for someone who brings: * Proven experience developing business with automotive OEMs and/or Tier 1s * Track record of growing revenue within a key account (more programmes, more parts, more plants) * Strong understanding of OEM buying cycles, sourcing decisions, programme timelines and gate reviews * Confidence sitting with engineering one day and procurement the next, adjusting your approach accordingly * Numerate and commercially astute, comfortable with pricing models, cost breakdowns and margin analysis * Energy, resilience and a “go after it” mindset, you enjoy creating opportunities, not waiting for them Existing JLR contacts or experience would be a big plus.
