Technical Manager - FM – £32.00 Per Hour – London – 12-month contract Our client a Global Facilities Management company is looking to recruit a Technical Manager for their prestigious client site based in London. The Technical Manager will play an integral role in ensuring asset compliance with all statutory, legislative and company procedures across the stakeholder groups, ensuring an effective maintenance strategy is in place. Salary: £32.00 per hour Location: London Working Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday 12-month Contract Technical Manager Responsibilities: * Management of technical issues, investigate and manage all claims of defect or asset failure. * Ensure the service delivery across the full range of services is continually improving and is in line with output specification. * Contribute to the financial performance of the contract particularly around operational efficiency and subcontract procurement. * Ensure compliance with company procedures for the effective planning, organisation, control, monitor and review of the services by analysis of the relevant data through the fitout process. * Ensure that assets planned maintenance tasks are completed, reactive works are effectively managed by third parties, and the correct standard of maintenance is being delivered. * Survey Assets where required and provide technical and conditional reports for pre- and post-handover. * Monitor Updates of record drawings and Operations and Maintenance manuals. * May be required to undertake AP duties alongside other AP’s such as HV and LV Systems, Pressure Systems. Full training will be provided if needed. * Understand and meet ongoing customer requirements, develop effective working relationships with business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors. The successful candidate: * Degree or equivalent experience in appropriate field Cat 1 and 2 Fitout Experience/CDM 2015 * Previous experience in a Technical Manager role within an FM environment preferably on a PFI Contract. * Stakeholder management and engagement skills. * Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office software. * Experience working with Private sector Contracts. * Sound awareness of risk assessment and working safely. * Health & Safety qualification (i.e. IOSH Managing Safely). * Experience with Building Services and experience in Mechanical and Electrical/ Fire/Vent systems. * Experienced in report writing and presentation with strong customer This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Technical Manager who is looking to join a well-established organisation, develop their skill set and become part of a truly first-rate Facility in the London area
