EYFS Teaching Assistant - Complex Needs Location: Greenwich Pay: £95-£115 per day Contract: Full-time, Long-term Start: ASAP Remedy Education are looking for a nurturing and committed EYFS Teaching Assistant to support young children with complex needs at a welcoming primary school in Greenwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood development and eager to make a genuine difference in a specialist setting. The role: Supporting nursery and reception-aged pupils with a range of complex learning, communication, and physical needs Working 1:1 and in small groups to promote engagement, independence, and emotional wellbeing Assisting with routine care needs, including personal care where required Helping to deliver sensory-based and play-led activities Creating a calm, safe, and supportive learning environment Working closely with the class teacher, SEN team, and therapists The ideal candidate will: Have experience working with complex needs, PMLD, or early years SEN Be confident supporting children with communication differences, sensory needs, and developmental delays Be patient, caring, and resilient Have a warm, child-centred approach Hold (or be willing to obtain) a valid Enhanced DBS This is a rewarding role where you will play a key part in helping young children thrive at the very beginning of their educational journey.
