Nursery Practitioner


Full Time | Permanent | 37.5 Hours Per Week £12.21 per hour (or age-related minimum wage if under 21) A warm, nurturing and child-centred day nursery in Worcester (WR4 area) is seeking a Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a patient, caring and motivated practitioner who enjoys working in a busy, rewarding Early Years environment. About the Role You will be working 37.5 hours per week, on a rota between 8:00am and 6:00pm, covering one of the following shifts each day: * 8:00am – 4:00pm * 9:00am – 5:00pm * 10:00am – 6:00pm Each shift includes a 0.5 hour unpaid break (7.5 paid hours per day). No evenings or weekends. Overtime is available between 8:00am–6:00pm. You will be primarily supporting children aged 18 months to 2.5 years, providing high-quality care, following children’s interests, and supporting their individual needs. About the Setting This is a well-established, four-room nursery with: * 68 children on roll * A team of 23 staff * A “home-from-home”, nurturing ethos * A strong focus on child-led practice The nursery supports a diverse community, including children who may require additional emotional and developmental support. They are looking for someone who is calm, patient and confident supporting children with varied needs.
