Business Development Executive


Interiors Business Development Executive (BDE) – As the business grows across residential and commercial sectors, the Business Development Executive (BDE) plays a key role in identifying new opportunities, managing existing accounts, and driving sustainable growth. Acting as a vital link between the market, customers, and the internal sales team, the BDE supports a market-facing Business Development Manager (BDM) in expanding territory and revenue. Key Responsibilities * Identify, qualify, and assess new market opportunities quickly and effectively. * Build and maintain a sustainable pipeline while cultivating trust with partners. * Evaluate opportunities using criteria such as budget, need, authority, and timeline * Understand prospects’ requirements and challenges to propose viable solutions. * Identify and engage key decision-makers. * Communicate the value proposition clearly to new, existing, and dormant customers. * Collaborate with the BDM to drive regional and national growth. * Act as a consultant rather than a salesperson, demonstrating empathy, agility, and insight. * Conduct outbound communications, including calls, emails, and social media prospecting. * Cross-sell products and differentiate offerings from competitors. * Organi client engagement activities such as Lunch & Learn sessions and CPDs. * Maintain accurate CRM records, manage the BDM’s diary, and generate reports on lead activity.
