British Sign Language (BSL) Teaching Assistant

British Sign Language Teaching Assistant am currently working with a School in SE3 that require a BSL TA to work within their deaf support SEN unit, the role will begin in January full-time. · Mixed Secondary School · Location: Blackheath SE3 · Hours: 8.30am to 4pm Mon- Fri · Salary: Dependant on experience · Must have BSL Level 2 Key Criteria BSL Teaching Assistant · Maintain the classroom and equipment in a safe and tidy condition. · Contribute to record-keeping by recording observations of pupils during the school day. · Communicate their knowledge and understanding of students to other school staff · Demonstrate positive attitudes, values and behaviours consistent with the role and in line with the expectations · Promote, support and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities. · Provide teaching and learning support including the use of appropriate technical resources · Supporting and teaching students with SEN and additional needs · Work with other SEN Teaching Assistants in groups with students If you would be interested in the role please email your CV to be considered or please ask if you have any further questions
