Mortgage Adviser (BTL & Bridging) Location: Glasgow / Hamilton – Full-Time, On-Site A growing mortgage brokerage is seeking an experienced Mortgage Adviser to take ownership of its Buy-to-Let and Bridging division. This role is ideal for an adviser who is confident with specialist lending and wants high-quality inbound leads without the need for cold calling. About the Role You will advise clients on a range of specialist mortgage products, including buy-to-let, HMOs, limited company structures, and bridging finance. The role involves managing the full advisory process from initial enquiry through to completion, while ensuring excellent client service and full regulatory compliance. This position requires a strong adviser with solid experience handling complex lending scenarios. Key Responsibilities * Manage the full client journey from initial contact to completion * Provide advice on Buy-to-Let, and bridging finance products * Conduct detailed affordability and suitability assessments * Review clients’ financial circumstances, credit profiles, and investment goals * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lender criteria, market trends, and products * Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and other third parties * Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal standards What We Offer * Basic salary of £45,000 * On-target earnings of £65,000–£75,000 * All leads are inbound * Leads are prequalified by the internal team and passed directly to advisers * No cold calling or chasing unqualified prospects * Supportive, professional working environment * Opportunity to take full ownership of the specialist lending function What We’re Looking For * CeMAP (or equivalent) qualification * Minimum 2–3 years of mortgage advising experience * Strong understanding of specialist lending, BTL, and bridging * Excellent communication and client relationship skills * Solid knowledge of financial planning and investment principles * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * A confident, results-driven adviser with high professional standards
