Engineering Technician (Mechanical)

We are currently seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to join our client’s team in Milton Keynes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role following a successful temporary period. Working Hours: * Monday–Thursday: 08:00–16:30 * Friday: 08:00–15:30 Benefits Upon Permanent Appointment * Enhanced holiday entitlement * Company pension scheme * Death in service benefit * Income protection insurance Key Responsibilities * Working within a factory/workshop environment * Operating power presses * Testing finished products * Carrying out quality checks and inspections * Producing and assembling mechanical components * Maintaining 5S standards * Collaborating with other departments to support production needs * Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety requirements Skills & Qualifications * Completed apprenticeship, NVQ, or equivalent Mechanical Engineering qualification (essential) * Competent PC skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Experience in assembly, fabrication, and inspection * Ability to identify root causes and develop effective engineering solutions Quality Personnel acting as an Employment Agency & Business (rated as one of the top 3 Agencies in Milton Keynes for the 6th year running!).
