Electrical Engineer

We are a leading fruit packing company committed to quality, efficiency, and innovation. To support our growing operations, we are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with a strong technical background and a passion for problem-solving to join our team. Key Responsibilities: * Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across the facility. * Support the design, installation, and upgrading of automation systems to improve packing line efficiency. * Conduct regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm and fire suppression systems. * Work closely with the production and maintenance teams to ensure minimal downtime and safe operations. * Assist with project planning, equipment upgrades, and implementation of new technologies. * Annual PAT Testing of all electrical items. * Ensure compliance with electrical and safety regulations. Essential Qualifications: * NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Electrotechnical Installation (or equivalent). * AM2 (Achievement Measurement 2) Assessment. * Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671). * Experience working with both single-phase (230V) and three-phase (400V) systems. * Level 3 Award in Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection & Testing of Electrical Installations. Desirable (but not essential): * ECS/CSCS Card for site work. * Knowledge of automation systems (PLCs, sensors, drives). * Experience with fire alarm and fire suppression systems.
