Flat Roofing Estimator The Company: Our client is a well-established roofing contractor delivering high-quality projects across the public sector, including schools, residential blocks, and local authority buildings. With a strong pipeline of secured framework agreements, they are now seeking an experienced Flat Roofing Estimator to join their commercial team. The role will focus primarily on flat roofing (bitumen felt systems), including Langley, Bauder, and Axter, with some pitched roofing involvement. The ideal candidate will have strong estimating experience, particularly within public sector refurbishment projects. Responsibilities: As a Flat Roofing Estimator you will prepare accurate estimates for flat and pitched roofing projects, from £100k–£500k in value Review tender documentation, drawings, and specifications Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain accurate costings Work closely with Contracts and Commercial teams to ensure seamless project handover Attend site visits and client meetings where required Support pricing for both new and existing public sector frameworks Maintain accurate records and tender submissions using internal systemsRequirements: Proven experience in estimating flat roofing projects, ideally including bitumen felt systems (Langley, Bauder, Axter) Good understanding of pitched roofing and refurbishment projects Strong numerical and commercial skills Experience working on public sector frameworks (e.g. schools, social housing) Competent in Microsoft Office and estimating softwareBenefits: Competitive basic salary Car allowance Long-term pipeline of secured framework work Supportive commercial team and leadership Immediate start available – ideally by January 2026To apply for this exciting opportunity as a Flat Roofing Estimator, submit your CV now.
