Architectural Technician

Architectural Technician Dublin €60-80k We are seeking a skilled Architectural Technician to join our client’s dynamic and multi-disciplined team based in Dublin. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in architectural design and technical drawing, with proficiency in various software applications. To be considered for this role you must have experience in working across project stages on either Residential or Commercial schemes able to take concept design information and develop technical solutions for tender through to construction. Duties * Play a crucial role in the development of architectural projects * Carrying out feasibility studies and risk assessments * Analysing architectural plans and drawings, highlighting any possible risks or problems, and making amendments using computer-aided design applications (CAD) * Utilise software to produce high-quality schematics and technical documentation. * Develop 3D models to visualise design concepts. * Assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications for various projects. * Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications. * Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project status. * Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design processes. Experience Required * Experienced Architectural Technologist, with 5+ years of experience * Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology/Design * Experience of working within the construction industry and commercial awareness of the construction process * Good technical grounding in all main areas of Architectural Technology * A client-centric outlook, with an ambition to deliver projects meeting client objectives effectively * Proficiency in architectural software * Strong understanding of Building Regulations * Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
