TIG Welder  Location: Wolverhampton Sector: Engineering / Manufacturing Recruitment: Pertemps Wolverhampton Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm Contract Type: Temp to Perm Pertemps Wolverhampton are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering client in Wolverhampton for an experienced TIG Welder to join their production team on a temp to perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder to secure a long-term position within a professional and quality-driven manufacturing environment. The Role  You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality TIG welding on components and assemblies, ensuring all work meets engineering specifications, quality standards and health & safety requirements. Key Responsibilities  Perform TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium components Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications Ensure welds meet required quality and appearance standards Carry out visual inspections and basic quality checks Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area Adhere to all health & safety procedures Ensure work is completed within production deadlines Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Essential Skills & Experience  Proven experience as a TIG Welder in an engineering or manufacturing environment Ability to read and understand technical drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Good knowledge of welding techniques and processes Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual and hardworking Desirable  Experience welding to coded or precision standards Previous work within aerospace or precision engineering sectors Basic fabrication skills Personal Attributes  Strong work ethic and professional attitude Excellent time management and organisational skills Good problem-solving ability Flexible and adaptable approach Commitment to continuous improvement and safe working practices What’s on Offer  £13.50 per hour Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm Temp to Perm opportunity Stable working hours Long-term career progression
