HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers Location: Manchester Airport Hours: Monday to Friday: 10-hour shifts (typically 7:00am start) Flexibility required for earlier starts from 6:00am when needed Weekend work: 12-hour shifts (7:00am start) Trunking routes: 12-hour night shifts (site-to-site, e.g., Manchester to London) — occasional overnight stays required Job Type: Full-time, Temp 2 Perm Salary: 15 per hour / 50 hours per week / 39k salary  Role Overview: We are currently seeking experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers to join our team operating out of Manchester Airport. This role involves a mix of multi-drop deliveries and trunking runs between sites, ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently. You'll be working with time-sensitive loads, so punctuality, professionalism, and safety are key. Key Responsibilities: Carry out daily multi-drop deliveries across the region Complete long-distance trunking runs (e.g., Manchester to London) as required Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed accurately and on time Carry out vehicle checks and ensure compliance with all road transport regulations Follow company procedures and maintain a high standard of customer service Adhere to health, safety, and security procedures, particularly within airport operations Requirements: Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 (Category C / C+E) licence CPC and Digital Tachograph Card essential Previous experience in multi-drop and/or trunking work Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and nights Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules efficiently Benefits: Regular, consistent hours Long-term ongoing work Paid breaks (if applicable to client policy) Opportunities for overtime and additional routes Supportive team and professional environment
