Lead AWS Platform Engineer Rate: £600-£650 per day (Inside IR35) Contract: 3 months initially (likely extension after new financial year) Location: Remote Clearance: SC Cleared Required Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead AWS Platform Engineer to join a high-profile government project. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring secure and efficient delivery of services. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and maintenance of AWS-based platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions. Automate operational tasks using scripting languages. Design and maintain production software delivery pipelines using CI/CD tools. Implement Infrastructure as Code for consistent and repeatable deployments. Essential Skills & Experience Strong experience with AWS cloud platforms. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). Demonstrable experience in automation using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). Hands-on experience with configuration tools such as GitHub and Jenkins. Proven track record in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
