Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire Contract: Full-time / Part-time (term-time only) Start Date: Immediate or ASAP Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience (via Teaching Personnel) About the Role Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary/secondary school in the High Wycombe area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA who is passionate about supporting pupils to reach their full potential. You will work closely with classroom teachers to provide high-quality learning support, deliver small-group interventions, and offer tailored 1:1 assistance where needed. The school has a warm community feel, and leadership is highly supportive of professional development. Key Responsibilities Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences Provide targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs Lead small-group and 1:1 interventions Assist with classroom organisation, behaviour management, and resource preparation Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment Requirements Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) Experience working within a primary or secondary school setting Strong behaviour management skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities A positive, patient, and proactive approach A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel) What Teaching Personnel Offers Competitive weekly pay, paid directly through PAYE Access to free CPD courses, including Safeguarding and Behaviour Management Supportive, dedicated consultants to help you succeed Opportunities for long-term roles and career progression within schools All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
