Responsibilities As a Water Hygiene Technician, you will: Conduct temperature monitoring and provide accurate exception and action reporting. Perform shower head and tap cleaning and descaling. Carry out expansion vessel flushing. Inspect and report on cold water and calorifier systems. Perform calorifier blow downs. Collect and sample microbiological data. Service and test TMVs (Thermostatic Mixing Valves). Clean cold water storage tanks and disinfect systems. Conduct mains injection disinfection. Qualifications We're looking for someone with: Experience in water hygiene tasks such as temperature monitoring, cleaning, and disinfection. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. A willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home when required.Desirable but not essential: Experience in logbook review and reporting. Knowledge of Legionella Risk Assessments for hot and cold-water systems. Familiarity with CAD production on AutoCAD. Day-to-Day Your day will be varied and engaging, including: Visiting client sites to ensure water systems are safe and compliant. Collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality services. Engaging with clients to provide exceptional customer service. Traveling to different locations and occasionally staying overnight.
