Job Title: Facilities / Maintenance Person Location: Whetstone Hours: 8am-4.30pm Mon-Fri Salary: £12.21 Foxes Recruitment are recruiting for a Facilities / Maintenance Person to work for our client based in the Whetstone area of Leicester. As a Maintenance Person you will be responsible for: * Carrying out day-to-day repairs, general maintenance, and improvement work. * Reviewing the maintenance request book and complete listed tasks in a timely manner. * Working with the Service Manager to prioritise maintenance activities and review these regularly. * Keeping accurate records of all work completed and submit a weekly report to the Service Manager and Home Managers. * Perform weekly inspections and documentation for fire alarms, fire doors, security doors, window restrictors, and emergency lighting. * Conduct monthly visual checks of firefighting equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers) as assigned. * Carrying out tasks including painting, decorating, general yard work, and other maintenance duties. * Coordinate and liaise with external contractors when necessary.
