Sales Engineer

Internal Sales / Applications Engineer Location: CW3 Salary: Competitive + Training + Career Development Industry: Pumps / Engineering / Fluid Handling The Opportunity We are partnered with a well-established engineering business in Woore seeking an organised, customer-focused Internal Sales Engineer to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, technical interest, and a desire to progress within an engineering environment. Full product training is provided. Key Responsibilities Handle incoming customer enquiries via phone and email Prepare accurate and timely quotations Select the correct products based on customer requirements Build rapport and maintain strong client relationships Liaise with customers, Area Sales Managers and the management team Monitor and feedback market trends and customer insights Use CRM, accounting and sizing software (training provided) Identify your own training needs to support ongoing career development Support the wider business with any additional duties as required Promote and follow company Health & Safety policies Person Specification Qualifications & Knowledge Engineering qualification (ONC / HNC / BEng) - desirable Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office - essential Good standard of English and Maths - essential Understanding of pumps, pipework or general engineering principles - desirable Knowledge of the industry - desirable Experience Previous experience in a similar internal sales, technical support or customer service role - desirable Experience working with pumps or fluid handling equipment - desirable Excellent verbal and written communication skills - essential Skills & Competencies Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities - essential Team player with strong collaboration skills - essential Confident managing and prioritising your own workload - essential Proven ability to identify or develop new profitable opportunities - essential Personal Attributes Self-motivated and proactive - essential Strong interpersonal skills and confident dealing with all types of enquiries - essential Willing to learn new skills and develop technical knowledge - desirable Why Apply?
