Assembly Technician

ROLE – Assembly Technician LOCATION - Portsmouth TERM - Permanent SALARY- £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience My client designs and manufactures bespoke products, and they are looking to take on an Assembly Technician. This is a permanent position, based in Portsmouth. The Assembly Technician will ideally have the following attributes: Experienced with Mechanical Assembly and Welding Able to manufacture components for assembly and build high precision products Ideally have some knowledge of pipes, pumps, hoses, valves, manifolds and similar equipment would be beneficial Electrical knowledge would be beneficial too Mechanical background in a workshop environment Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Team player  The Assembly Technician role will involve: Mechanical assembly of a variety of products and equipment Pressure testing fluid transfer products Working to project specifications and deadlines Participating in technical training Working to procedures and instructions Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues  If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible
