Business Development Manager Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + circa £20,000 OTE (uncapped) Location: Sunderland (Hybrid) My client is a rapidly growing SaaS organisation offering a market leading solution designed to enhance training, build skills and ensure compliance for clients across the globe. Underpinned by significant investment, there is a clear roadmap for business transformation, which will translate into aggressive growth over the next 2 years, as they continue to commercialise their offering at pace. The Business Development Manager role is a key appointment in helping them to achieve their goals, and in return they will provide a platform for continued development to the appointed person, as well as a lucrative uncapped commission model. The Role * Identifying and concluding new sales opportunities across the UK * Developing and nurturing your own leads * Uncover client’s business challenges and identify relevant business opportunities * Managing the sales process end-to-end, including software demonstrations and commercial negotiations * Providing first class customer-focused approach * Attending conferences and networking events as and when required to support the needs of the business * Efficiently and effectively process assigned opportunities into sales * Manage your own pipeline and all work activities, maintaining accurate information and up-to-date forecasts on all prospects * Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets The Person * Previous experience of having sold a software solution to a B2B audience * Experience of using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology * An individual with either exposure to 360 degree selling or someone who is ready to take that ‘step up’ from a SDR into their first end-to-end Business Development Manager * Ability to develop trust and relationships with prospects, customers, and colleagues * Excellent telephone, online and face to face presentation skills * Strong desire to be part of a team that delivers our customers breakthrough results This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious organisation at an exciting stage in its journey, with genuine opportunities for career development.
