We are currently working with a major Renewable Energy client on a utility-scale BESS project in the midlands. The project requires a Civil/Structural Engineer with deep knowledge and experience of Substation civils design, including: * Foundation slabs * Equipment layout design * Cable trenching/ducting * Retaining structures * On substations up to 400kV The role is primarly remote, with occasional office presence (approx 2 days per month) and provision to set up a temporary office on-site in Stoke if required. * 6 month initial contract with very high likelihood of extension * Approx rate £55-£60 per hour * Outside IR 35 * 2 week reciprocal notice period Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to be considered for this exciting opportunity
