Civil Design Engineer

Contract Outline: Role: Civil Design Engineer (2-5 years experience) Location: Macclesfield (hybrid working) Sector: Wastewater Contract Length: 12 months Outside IR35 Rate: £35-37.50ph Role Overview: Design of civil infrastructure for the water sector, for feasibility, conceptual and detailed designs - namely focused on pipelines. Key Responsibilities Producing Feasibility, Conceptual and Detailed Design documents. Assist design drawings using AutoCAD 2D / 3D or AutoDesk Civil 3D (or similar) software (working alongside CAD Engineer). Preparing design packs for internal and external client reviews. Producing designs in accordance with the relevant client and water network design codes, regulations, specifications and procedures. Working in accordance with CDM Regulations 2015. Attending and participating in internal and external meetings to review designs. Pipeline / Valve support Drawings, General Arrangement Drawings, Thrust / anchor block Drawings, Site infrastructure Drawings Key Skills / Qualifications Water / Wastewater industry experience. Civil Engineering background. Keen to take on the Engineering work and gain exposure to Project Management, which will be supported
