The Role We are seeking a passionate and skilled HLTA to support teaching and learning across the school, with a particular focus on pupils with Special Educational Needs. This is an exciting position for someone who is committed to inclusive practice and eager to make a meaningful difference. Key Responsibilities: * Lead whole-class sessions and small-group teaching under teacher guidance * Deliver differentiated and targeted learning activities, including for pupils with SEND * Support personalised learning through adapted resources and evidence-based interventions * Provide mentoring and support to other classroom assistants * Contribute to a calm, positive and values-led classroom environment * Track and monitor pupil progress, contributing to planning and assessment * Promote independence, resilience and personal development * Work in partnership with teachers, families and external professionals Person Specification We want to hear from you if you: * Hold an HLTA qualification (or equivalent) * Have experience working with primary-aged pupils, ideally including SEN support * Are confident adapting learning for a wide range of abilities and needs * Possess strong communication, organisation and behaviour-management skills * Are reflective, compassionate and able to work collaboratively * Align with the school’s ethos of respect, inclusion and high expectations Why Apply Through Education Personnel?
