The Role – Learning Support Assistant As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across the school, including those with additional learning needs. Your responsibilities will include providing targeted support, assisting with group work and 1:1 interventions, and helping to create a positive, engaging learning environment. You will help pupils develop key skills in literacy, numeracy, and social–emotional development, ensuring every child feels confident and supported. The role also involves monitoring progress, adapting activities where needed, and contributing to the wider life of the school.
