Transport Administrator - Wednesbury Salary: £28,500 per annum (£12.84 per hour) Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm (1 hour unpaid lunch - 42.5 hours per week) Job Type: Temp to Perm (initially payrolled via Hariley Solutions) About the Role Hariley Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a well-established logistics client in Wednesbury for a Transport Administrator / Customs Declarations professional. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, providing full training and long-term career progression within a stable local business. You will play a key role in managing transport documentation, customer communication, system updates, and day-to-day logistics administration. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, accurate, and confident in a fast-paced transport environment. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and process transport documents, driver paperwork, service files, and legal compliance records * Accurately manage PODs, WTD documentation, and internal data * Communicate proactively with logistics teams and customers regarding any service issues * Respond to calls and emails professionally and efficiently * Support reporting, KPI updates, and meeting preparation * Maintain organised filing systems and quality documentation * Assist with GRP delivery administration * Monitor and record diesel, AdBlue, and other vehicle consumables * Use systems including Vigo, Samsara, Tacomaster, Merridale, TSS & RHA * Provide cover across logistics functions when required Skills & Experience Required * Previous administrative experience (transport/logistics experience advantageous) * Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal * Professional, reliable, and able to manage competing priorities * Proactive approach with high work standards Benefits * Temp-to-perm opportunity with potential for long-term progression * Full training on internal systems provided * Weekly pay during temporary period via Hariley Solutions * Local, stable company with a supportive team environment How to Apply If you have strong administrative skills and are looking for a long-term role in transport and logistics, please click “Apply” to submit your CV today
