Electrical Shift Engineer – Continental Shift Location: City of London Salary: £53,000 + Bonus Benefits: AP Training, Overtime Opportunities, 20 Days Holiday, Company Pension Scheme About the Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive Electrical Shift Engineer to join a leading facilities management team based at a prestigious commercial site in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to progress their career, gain further qualifications, and work within a highly reputable organisation. You will work on a continental shift pattern, providing planned and reactive maintenance across a range of electrical and building services systems. The role offers strong long-term development, including Authorised Person (AP) training, as well as generous overtime and bonus opportunities. Key Responsibilities * Perform PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical and building services equipment * Diagnose faults and repair systems efficiently to minimise downtime * Ensure compliance with site procedures and health & safety regulations * Work alongside a multi-skilled engineering team to deliver a high standard of service * Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation * Support wider engineering operations when required Requirements * NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent * 18th Edition (essential) * Strong experience working in commercial building maintenance * Ability to work effectively within a shift team * Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and customer service abilities What’s on Offer? * £53,000 basic salary + bonus scheme * Continental shift pattern (days & nights) * AP Training provided * Plenty of overtime available * 20 days holiday * Company pension scheme * Career development within a well-established FM provider
