Mechanical Engineer

Job Title: Junior Mechanical Engineer Location: Milton Keynes Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum We are seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join a growing engineering business based in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to develop their skills in a hands-on environment and gain exposure to mechanical design, product development, and engineering processes. Responsibilities: Support the engineering team in the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and assemblies. Assist with producing CAD models and technical drawings. Work with production and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and meet quality standards. Contribute to problem-solving, continuous improvement, and engineering change activities. Participate in project work, including prototyping, testing, and validation. Provide general engineering support across the department as needed. Requirements: Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Strong interest in mechanical design and engineering development. Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks desirable). Good understanding of mechanical principles and manufacturing processes. Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
