Regional HR Manager


Job Title – Regional HR ManagerLocation – AlnessKey Responsibilities Advise workers of any hazards or potential hazards that you are aware of and reduce or eliminate them  Ensure that all personnel under your control are fully trained and understand the tasks they are asked to perform and that they are aware of all risks  Thoroughly investigate any incidents or near misses in your work area and ensure that steps are taken to prevent recurrence  Hold regular safety meetings with those you supervise and keep records of these meetings  Ensure that any sub-contractors working in your area are supervised and monitored for compliance with the Client HSE policy and applicable HSE legislation  Set clear objectives and targets in relation to our HSES activities (number of Safety Visits, EAR Cards, etc.…)   Activities Responsible for: Comply with Health and Safety at Work Act and world-wide HSE Legislation  Comply with Company Management Procedures Conduct regular safety visits and hold supportive discussions with operational staff, reinforcing the importance of a safe working environment and encouraging constructive feedback.  Monitor and appraise the performance of assigned personnel, identifying training needs and implementing development plans.  Ensure all employees participate in structured induction and probation programs, including post-entry reviews.  Oversee completion and documentation of exit interviews to support retention and engagement strategies.   Lead the development, implementation, and oversight of HR policies and programs covering:  Employee Relations  Organisational and Employee Development  Reward & Benefits  Recruitment & Retention  Employment Legislation  Diversity, Equity & Inclusion  Promote HR best practices throughout the organisation and ensure alignment with company values. Develop, revise, and gain approval for HR policies and procedures in response to business needs and legislative changes.  Provide consistent, accurate advice on conditions of service, employment law, and HR policies to managers and employees.  Stay current with employment legislation and proactively advise leadership on implications for operations.  Support managers in handling sensitive employment matters including:  Sickness absence  Performance and capability issues  Disciplinary and grievance procedures  Ensure timely resolution of employee relations issues and maintain a harmonious working environment.  Maintain comprehensive records including career history, compensation, training, visas, passports, contact details, offshore certifications, and more.  Lead recruitment activities, ensuring efficient, timely, and compliant hiring processes.  Provide expert guidance to managers on recruitment strategy, reward frameworks, and retention initiatives.   Produce monthly HR performance reports, including key metrics such as headcount, turnover, and absence rates.  Our role in supporting diversity and inclusion As an international workforce business, we are committed to sourcing personnel that reflects the diversity and values of our client base but also that of Orion Group.
