Electronic Engineering Manager – Defence Technology Location: Stevenage - Hybrid Salary: Up to £85000 DOE, Benefits Clearance: Eligible for UK Security Clearance (or equivalent) The Opportunity I am supporting a leading defence innovator in their search for an accomplished Electronic Engineering Manager. What You’ll Lead as Electronic Engineering Manager * Ownership of electronic design strategy across advanced defence platforms. * Management and development of a multidisciplinary electronics team (digital, analogue, power, FPGA, embedded). * Delivery of robust, high-reliability electronic systems from concept to production. * Technical governance, design assurance and continuous improvement of engineering processes. * Collaboration with systems, software, mechanical and product teams to deliver integrated solutions. * Oversight of design reviews, safety cases, verification/validation, compliance and certification. * Shaping architecture decisions and driving innovation in sensors, communications, guidance or ruggedised electronics (dependent on programme). What You’ll Bring as Electronic Engineering Manager * A strong track record leading electronic engineering teams within defence, aerospace, or similarly regulated sectors. * Deep expertise across digital and analogue design; familiarity with high-reliability, safety-critical or harsh-environment systems. * Experience delivering complex programmes and owning engineering strategy. * Excellent leadership, coaching and stakeholder management skills. * Eligibility for security clearance and a passion for contributing to national defence capability.
