gap personnel are seeking a Counterbalance forklift driver to join our client’s distribution team in Laindon. Hours: 09:00-17:00 Location: Laindon SS15 Type: temporary – Full time – Temporary, ongoing position. Pay: £13.50ph Start date: Mon 24th November Key duties: Placing and removing pallets at height Loading and unloading boxes Assisting with audit counts, Transporting goods around the warehouse Maintaining accurate stock locations Conducting basic pre-use checks on the FLT Skills & Experience: Valid Counterbalance FLT license (essential). Experience operating a forklift safely and confidently. Able to lift to 15 kg using correct manual-handling techniques. General warehouse experience, including pallet movements and stock handling. Good attention to detail for accurate counting and stock checks. Awareness of health & safety requirements in a warehouse.
