Quantity Surveyor – Residential Build (£10m) Manchester £55,000 – £65,000 + Car Allowance About the Role We’re seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Manchester to oversee a £10m residential development made up of a mix of houses and apartments. You’ll play a key role throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring commercial control, cost accuracy, and smooth delivery from start to finish. Key Responsibilities * Manage all commercial aspects of the project, from procurement through final accounts * Prepare cost plans, valuations, and budget forecasts * Lead on tendering, subcontractor management, and contract administration * Provide accurate monthly reporting and maintain strong cost control * Work closely with the site team to ensure financial performance aligns with project goals * Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors About You * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in residential construction * Strong knowledge of JCT contracts * Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills * Confident managing projects of similar scale and complexity * Able to work collaboratively within a dynamic project team What’s on Offer * Salary between £55,000 – £65,000 * Car allowance * Opportunity to work on a flagship residential scheme in Manchester * Supportive team, long-term career prospects, and continued professional development If you’re looking for a role where you can make a visible impact on a major development and grow with an expanding business, we’d love to hear from you
