We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join our specialist provision, supporting children and young people aged 3–19 with a range of complex learning, communication, sensory, physical, and social needs. About the Role As a SEND Teacher in our setting, you will: * Plan and deliver highly individualised, engaging learning experiences that meet each learner’s EHCP outcomes * Teach across a diverse age range (3–19), adapting your approach to developmental stages * Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, teaching assistants, behaviour specialists, and families * Use a range of communication strategies (e.g. visual supports, AAC, sensory approaches) to ensure every learner can access learning * Create a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where every young person is celebrated for who they are * Support personal development, independence, life skills, and emotional wellbeing alongside academic learning What We’re Looking For We would love to hear from you if you are: * Passionate about inclusive education and committed to empowering learners with complex needs * Creative and adaptable, able to tailor curriculum and teaching methods to individual strengths * Patient, resilient, and nurturing, with a genuine belief in every child’s potential * A collaborative team player, ready to work closely with colleagues and families * Reflective and eager to learn, open to ongoing training and professional development Experience in a SEND or specialist provision is highly beneficial, but we welcome applications from teachers with a strong desire to grow within this field.
