Assistant Ecologist

Our client-an established, forward-thinking ecological consultancy-has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Graduate or Assistant Ecologist to join their thriving London team. What's on offer: £26,000-£27,500 salary Hybrid working and flexible hours Generous training budget and professional development support Friendly, inclusive team culture Opportunities to work on innovative, nationally significant projects What you'll be doing: Assisting with protected species surveys (bats, GCN, reptiles, birds and more) Supporting ecological impact assessments and biodiversity reporting Conducting habitat surveys and mapping (UKHab) Helping deliver net gain strategies and nature-positive design Analysing data, writing technical reports, and contributing to project proposals Working flexibly across office, field, and home environments What we're looking for: A degree in ecology, environmental science or related subject A genuine enthusiasm for ecology, conservation and the natural environment Some survey experience (professional, voluntary or academic) Strong attention to detail and clear written communication A full UK driving licence (ideal, but not essential for the London office) If you're eager to kickstart your ecological career with an inspiring and supportive consultancy, we'd love to hear from you.
