Job Title: Occupational Hygienist Location: Bicester Salary: £28,000-£40,000 + Benefits A leading environmental and occupational health consultancy is seeking an Occupational Hygienist to join their growing Bicester team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional with 1-3 years' experience and ongoing BOHS training to advance their career within a supportive, well-established consultancy. In this role, you'll take an active part in delivering workplace exposure assessments across a variety of industries-helping clients manage risk, stay compliant, and enhance long-term employee wellbeing. You'll work on diverse projects, receive full support toward your BOHS qualifications, and benefit from clear routes for progression. Benefits include: £28,000-£40,000 DOE Company pension and private healthcare 25+ days annual leave plus bank holidays Fully funded BOHS training and CPD Hybrid working and flexible hours Structured progression to Senior level Key Responsibilities: Carry out workplace exposure monitoring (dust, fumes, noise, vibration) Conduct LEV assessments and assist with COSHH reviews Produce detailed technical reports and risk assessments Provide practical, evidence-based advice to clients Support junior team members and contribute to team development Liaise with clients, regulators, and site personnel Skills & Experience: 1-3 years' experience in occupational hygiene or workplace monitoring BOHS modules (W501-W507) completed or in progress Degree in Occupational Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related discipline Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills Full UK driving licence If you're interested in this position, or would like to discuss other opportunities in Occupational Hygiene, please contact Abi King at Penguin Recruitment for a confidential conversation.
