Experienced SEN Teacher - (QTS)

The Role We are seeking a qualified teacher (QTS) with good SEN experience to join the school from January 2026. The role suits a teacher who is confident adapting lessons, supporting diverse learners, and working within a mainstream setting with students who may present with ASC, ADHD, SEMH, SLCN, or other additional needs. You will deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons (subject specialism open—Physics welcome), working alongside the SENCO and support staff to help students access the curriculum and make strong progress. Key Responsibilities • Deliver engaging, well-differentiated lessons across KS3–KS4 • Adapt teaching strategies to support students with a range of SEN • Work closely with the SENCO and support staff to implement support plans/EHCP strategies • Track and assess progress, providing meaningful feedback • Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school SEN initiatives • Build positive, supportive relationships with students and families • Participate in CPD, parent evenings, and wider school life Role Requirements • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) • Solid experience supporting SEN students in a secondary school setting • Good behaviour management and inclusive teaching practice • Experience working in UK secondary schools • Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills • A genuine passion for supporting diverse learners Why Join ANZUK Education? • Personalised support from a dedicated consultant • Free CPD opportunities, including SEN-focused training • Opportunity to work in a school with excellent pastoral systems and an inclusive ethos About ANZUK: ANZUK Education is dedicated to creating exceptional experiences in education.
