Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor | £250m Data Centre | East London | ASAP Start Looking for your next step in a high-performance commercial team? This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing contractor delivering major MEP packages on blue-chip data centre and commercial schemes across London. You'll be part of a collaborative team working on technically complex projects, supporting commercial strategy, procurement, and cost control from tender stage through to final account. If you enjoy fast-paced environments, major project exposure and working closely with senior leadership this role will suit you. The Role • Manage commercial delivery of multiple MEP projects within the London region • Lead procurement, subcontract packages, and supply chain selection • Review tender documentation, identify risk/opportunity, and support bid strategy • Oversee cost reporting, forecasting, and budget management across live projects • Produce and review contractual correspondence, including EOTs, claims and change control • Work closely with site teams to ensure projects run on time and in budget • Prepare and manage subcontracts to reflect agreed scope, variations, and programme requirements • Compile progress reports, cost summaries, and commercial updates for senior leadership and clients What they're looking for • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics (SCSI/RICS recognised) • 6+ years' QS experience, ideally with strong MEP exposure • Proven background working on large-scale Data Centre projects • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of RIAI / FIDIC / JCT forms of contract • Confident in negotiations, conflict management and document analysis • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, PQS teams and delivery partners • High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused approach The Company A well-established, award-winning contractor known for delivering high-value MEP, data centre, and commercial projects across the UK and Europe.
