Account Manager – Smart Managed Solutions - London Smart Managed Solutions partners with leading global organisations to deliver exceptional engineering and FM services. The Role We're seeking a dynamic Account Manager to lead the operational and commercial performance of a key client contract. You’ll oversee the maintenance of M&E systems, lead on-site teams, and drive service excellence — while managing a contract P&L of circa £3m, ensuring strong financial performance and profitable growth. What You’ll Do Manage PPM, reactive works, and full statutory compliance Lead, coach, and develop engineering teams (briefings, TBTs, appraisals) Produce accurate monthly client reports and maintain excellent communication Oversee QHSE audits, documentation, and performance standards Manage extra works, quotations, and supplier relationships within contract parameters Control budgets, monitor spend, and protect P&L performance (~£3m) Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery, efficiency, and profitability What You’ll Bring 2–5 years’ experience in FM/operational contract management Experience of managing managers Strong understanding of M&E systems Confident in financial oversight, budgeting, and reporting Excellent client relationship and communication skills Desirable: 18th Edition, C&G 2391, Mechanical/HVAC qualifications Why Smart?
