Qualified Teacher of Dance (Maternity Cover) Location: Halstead, Essex Contract Type: Fixed-term (Maternity Cover) Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience) ️ Start Date: January 2026 We are seeking a talented and passionate Teacher of Dance to join a creative and dedicated Performing Arts department for a maternity cover position based in the Halstead area. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring teacher to deliver high-quality dance lessons that engage students and celebrate creativity, performance, and self-expression. The successful candidate will contribute to a vibrant programme of performing arts within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. Key Responsibilities Teach Dance across Key Stages 3 and 4. Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire all learners. Prepare students for assessments and performances. Contribute to extra-curricular activities, including rehearsals and school showcases. Work collaboratively within the Performing Arts team to promote creativity and participation. About You Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Dance. A passion for performance and student engagement.
