Overview We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven AV Account Manager to join our office-based distribution sales team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and growing relationships with existing reseller partners, while developing new business opportunities within the professional Audio-Visual (AV) market. This position is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment, with a passion for AV technology, customer service excellence, and solution-based selling. Key Responsibilities * Account Management * Manage a portfolio of existing AV reseller and integrator accounts, ensuring strong relationships and customer satisfaction. * Proactively identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across product ranges and vendors. * Maintain regular contact with customers through calls, emails, and virtual meetings to understand business needs and project requirements. * New Business Development * Identify, qualify, and onboard new reseller accounts. * Actively prospect and engage with potential partners to expand market share and revenue streams. * Sales & Commercial Activity * Achieve and exceed monthly sales and margin targets. * Prepare competitive quotations and negotiate pricing within approved frameworks. * Maintain accurate CRM records of all customer interactions, opportunities, and forecasts. * Product Knowledge & Vendor Liaison * Develop a strong understanding of the AV product portfolio, including displays, projection, collaboration systems, control, and signal management. * Work closely with vendor partners and internal product specialists to ensure customer solutions are technically sound and commercially viable. * Keep up to date with new technologies, promotions, and industry developments. * Internal Collaboration * Coordinate with logistics, purchasing, marketing, and technical teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction. * Provide feedback to product and marketing teams on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity. Skills & Experience Required * Proven experience in B2B AV sales, ideally within a distribution or vendor environment. * Strong knowledge of professional AV technologies (displays, projection, video conferencing, digital signage, etc.). * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. * Strong negotiation and commercial awareness. * Comfortable working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications. * Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving targets. * Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment. Desirable Attributes * Experience working with key AV brands and vendors. * Knowledge of the UK reseller and systems integrator landscape. * Familiarity with IT/AV convergence and Unified Communications markets. * A genuine passion for technology and providing exceptional customer service.
