As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and repair of high-precision sheet metal components used in aircraft and aerospace structures. This is a hands-on role requiring expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to strict aerospace standards. Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment including shears, brakes, presses, and CNC machinery. Perform drilling, riveting, and fastening operations to create secure, durable metal assemblies. Repair and modify aircraft components, ensuring all work meets exacting aerospace standards. Conduct inspections to ensure quality and compliance with tight tolerances. Collaborate closely with engineers and quality teams to resolve fabrication challenges. Maintain a safe, organised workspace and adhere to all PPE and safety protocols. Document processes, material usage, and inspection results accurately.Requirements: Minimum 3 years' sheet metal experience, ideally in aerospace. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficiency with aluminium, titanium, stainless steel, and other aerospace materials. Experience with precision measuring instruments such as callipers, micrometres, and height gauges. High attention to detail with a commitment to quality. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
