Vehicle Technician

Location: Plymouth Salary: £36,720 - £42,660 Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00–17:30, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays 08:00–12:00 (overtime paid at time and a half) Benefits: A wide range of exclusive colleague-only benefits and discounts Our client is a leading vehicle rental company with a busy Plymouth branch, covering both local and national customers. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of vehicles to ensure they are safe, reliable, and legally compliant. The ideal candidate will be a Level 2 qualified technician with at least 3 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, MOT Tester, or Automotive Mechanic, or a fully qualified Level 3 Diagnostic Technician. Training and Development: * Access to IMI-accredited training, including hybrid & EV vehicle repair, tail lift maintenance, braking systems, and vehicle electrics. * Level 2 technicians can complete a training needs analysis to create a personalised development plan and expand their technical skillset.
