Mechanical Fitter

Responsibilities: Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings and specifications Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets required standards Assist with troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues during assembly Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure smooth project delivery Requirements: Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar mechanical assembly/maintenance role Experience in fabrication and working with steel components Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Relevant qualifications or training in mechanical assembly, fitting, or maintenance would be advantageous Benefits: Competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 (dependant on experience) 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Work with a respected and forward-thinking manufacturer Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth Engaging and varied role in a growing company
