Contracts & Service Manager


Our client are a long standing organisation in the communications sector. They are recruiting an experienced Contracts and Service Manager to join their busy team. The Contracts & Service Manager is a standalone role but you will be responsible for managing the contracts and service function of the business. Monday to Friday. Salary £26-30k plus benefits This is a key management administrative role responsible for coordinating service and repair activities, managing maintenance contract renewals, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the service department. You will act as the central point of contact for customers requiring equipment servicing and contract support, ensuring an efficient, professional, and customer-focused experience at all times. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate repairs, including booking equipment in, arranging collections/returns, and liaising with engineers and customers throughout the repair process. * Manage and administer maintenance contracts, including renewals, amendments, and updates. * Prepare, issue, and track contract renewal quotations and service documentation. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM and service management systems. * Provide excellent customer service — handling calls and emails professionally and promptly. * Support the service and contracts team with general administration, scheduling, and documentation. * Assist in preparing management reports and service performance data as required. * Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure efficient coordination of services. * Ensure all customer interactions and contract activities are compliant with company policies and procedures. Skills and Experience Required * Minimum 5 years of strong administrative experience in a similar office-based role. * Proven experience in contracts administration or service coordination — ideally within a technical, engineering, or communications environment. * Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a confident telephone manner. * Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. * Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM or service management systems. * Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience in a two-way radio, telecoms, or technology service company is advantageous.
