Mechanical Project Manager

Responsibilities * Lead the mechanical services scope across all project phases — design, procurement, installation, and commissioning. * Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including subcontractors, engineers, and supervisors. * Oversee all mechanical installations (HVAC, plant, public health, and associated systems), ensuring compliance with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards. * Develop and monitor project programmes, budgets, and resource forecasts. * Provide leadership in progress meetings, design reviews, and construction planning discussions. * Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with company quality, safety, and environmental standards. * Proactively manage risk, change, and commercial performance to maintain profitability. * Support commissioning, testing, and client handover activities to ensure a seamless transition. * Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, and the wider project delivery team. * Mentor and support junior engineers and site teams, promoting continuous improvement and professional development. Requirements * Extensive experience managing large-scale mechanical packages on Tier 1 or major Tier 2 projects. * Proven background in delivering complex mechanical systems on commercial, healthcare, or mixed-use developments. * Strong technical understanding of pipefitting, plant, and building services systems. * Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. * Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering. * In-depth knowledge of construction processes, commissioning, and current industry regulations.
