Warehouse Operative

Warehouse Operative Location: Rural outskirts of Framlingham Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm (1hr unpaid lunch) Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent Salary: £12.56 per hour    We’re currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a well-established and forward-thinking engineering company. This is a great opportunity for someone with production or factory experience who enjoys working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.    Job Purpose: As a Warehouse Operator, you’ll support day-to-day warehouse operations including stock handling for production lines, goods receiving, packing, wrapping, and distribution. You’ll work within a multi-functional team to ensure smooth supply chain processes and maintain safe working practices.    Key Responsibilities: Load and unload trailers and vehicles Operate across warehouse and yard functions Perform wrapping and strapping tasks Manual handling and heavy lifting Feed fast-moving production lines efficiently Operate manual handling equipment    What We’re Looking For: Experience in a production, manufacturing or factory environment (essential) Counterbalance or Reach forklift licence (essential) Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Self-motivated, with a positive attitude and good initiative Able to work independently and as part of a team Good level of Maths and English Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to rural location) Knowledge of the wire, cable or signal industry (desirable)    Company Benefits Include: Above Statutory holiday, Group Pension Scheme above statutory, Group Life Insurance, Private Healthcare, Dental Cover, Cycle to Work Scheme, Perks at Work, Income Protection, Volunteer Time & Charity Matching, Employee Stock Purchase!!!    Why Work Through Hales Group?
