Laser Operator

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for an Laser Operator on a 6 month rolling contract, based in Lincolnshire. Role Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Laser Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts. You will work closely with the production and engineering teams to ensure the highest quality standards are met. Requirements: · Preferably completed a recognized full level 3 apprenticeship. Candidates with an NVQ level 3 or technical certificate in a relevant engineering field will also be considered. · Proven experience as a Laser Operator in a manufacturing environment. · Proficiency in using Heidenhain for Fibre and NDYAG 5 Axis Lasers. · Experience of working with Nickel alloy materials. · Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications. · Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements. · Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. · Good computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes. · A proactive outlook towards work and continuous improvement.
