Warehouse Operatives – Haydock Location: Haydock Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour (Day/Back Shifts) | £12.21 +10% per hour (Night Shift) Shifts: Weekly rotating shifts (06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00) or fixed night shifts (22:00–06:00) Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent after 13 weeks Start Date: Immediate starts available JAM Staffing Solutions are recruiting Warehouse Operatives on behalf of a rapidly expanding logistics and distribution client based in Haydock. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team with genuine prospects for a permanent position after 13 weeks. Key Duties * Receiving and Processing Stock: Unloading deliveries, checking accuracy, and storing items in the correct locations. * Picking and Packing Orders: Selecting items, packing them securely, and preparing for shipment. * Inventory Management: Tracking stock levels, conducting stock counts, and updating records. * Shipping Orders: Labelling packages, arranging courier collections, and ensuring timely dispatch. * Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping work areas tidy, disposing of waste, and following health & safety procedures. * Quality Control: Inspecting products for damage or defects and ensuring order accuracy. * Data Entry: Recording inventory movements and updating warehouse management systems.
