Healthcare Assistant

Key Responsibilities * Provide consistent 2:1 support in line with H’s PBS plan and risk management strategies. * Monitor and support H’s mood and emotional regulation throughout the day. * Encourage and engage H in active, structured, and meaningful activities that promote development and enjoyment. * Use clear, structured communication tailored to H’s needs. * Manage and respond appropriately to challenging behaviour using trained de-escalation and behaviour support techniques. * Maintain accurate daily records, including incident reports and mood monitoring logs. * Promote a safe, supportive, and consistent environment to help reduce anxiety and behavioural triggers. * Work collaboratively with other support team members, family, and professionals involved in H’s care. * Ensure medication and health management needs (including epilepsy awareness) are met in line with support plans
