Fabric Engineer Location: Central London (Multiple Sites – Short Travel Between) Salary: £40,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm The Role We are seeking a reliable and skilled Fabric Engineer to join a well-established maintenance team supporting a small portfolio of prestigious commercial buildings in Central London. Working semi-static means you’ll be primarily based at one main site while providing support to nearby locations when required — offering both stability and variety in your day-to-day work. As a Fabric Engineer, you’ll be responsible for carrying out general building maintenance, repairs, and minor works to ensure the smooth running and presentation of all client facilities. Key Responsibilities * Perform planned and reactive maintenance across a range of building fabric and general maintenance tasks. * Carry out repairs to doors, locks, tiling, painting, plastering, joinery, and basic plumbing. * Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety regulations. * Support other on-site engineers and contractors as needed. * Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and report issues promptly. About You * Experienced Fabric Engineer with a background in commercial maintenance. * Multi-skilled with good general knowledge of building systems and trades. * Strong attention to detail with a proactive and flexible approach to work. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
